Knute Horwitz was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Like
any well rounded actor, he has experienced a variety of jobs. He
shoveled snow in 20 below, tended bar for Windy City politicians and
athletes, fished commercially for salmon in Alaska, slung herring in a
Swedish deli, taught speech and diction to immigrants, sorted parcels in
a basement mail room and mended forklift potholes in a liquor
warehouse. Knute studied theater and voice at Northeastern
Illinois University where his favorite operatic role was Sarastro in The
Magic Flute. He performed extensively in the Chicago improv community
and toured America with The Second City's Jewsical the Musical. Knute
lives in Los Angeles.
